Intellectual property

All texts, images and graphic elements are the property of Starbrush Studio or of their respective authors. Their reproduction without express authorisation is prohibited.

Project photographs

The miniature photographs we publish in the gallery and on project pages are original works of Starbrush Studio, which is their author and holds the exploitation rights. This page acts as the licence notice for those images: it sets out what you may do with them freely and what needs permission.

You may use them without prior authorisation in these cases:

• Sharing them on social media, forums or hobby communities, crediting Starbrush Studio as the author and linking back to the original project page.
• Personal, private use: wallpapers, home printing for your own use or sending them privately to friends.
• Showing your own commission if you hired us to paint it, in any non-profit medium and keeping the authorship visible.

In every case the image must remain intact: no crops that hide the branding, no filters that alter the colours and no removal of the credit.

Uses that require prior authorisation

You need written permission before:

• Selling or reproducing the photographs as a product: prints, T-shirts, calendars, merchandise or any derivative item.
• Using them in advertising, catalogues, brochures, campaigns or sponsored content for any brand.
• Publishing them on websites, channels or profiles that offer miniature painting services, paid courses or competitor promotion.
• Including them in databases, editorial collections or datasets intended to train artificial intelligence models.
• Modifying, recreating or deriving new images from them for purposes other than those listed above.

How to request permission

The contact form is the official channel for requesting an image use licence. You can also write to info@starbrushstudio.com. Please always state:

1. Which photographs you need: link to the project page or the project name.
2. Who will use them: person or company, and what they do.
3. Which medium and for what purpose: editorial, social media, advertising, exhibition, video, and so on.
4. Duration and territory of the use you need.

We review every request and reply in writing, usually within 5 working days. Authorisation is only valid when it is issued in writing and specifies the photographs granted, the permitted use and how authorship must be credited. Commercial uses may carry a licence fee, which is communicated before permission is granted.

Mandatory credit

When a photograph is used with authorisation, the credit “Photo: Starbrush Studio” must appear visibly next to the image or in the document credits, together with a link to starbrushstudio.com whenever the medium allows.

Breaches

Using the photographs outside these conditions constitutes an infringement of intellectual property and may lead to the corresponding claim, without prejudice to the immediate removal of the material.
